Actor Gerard Butler, star of the movie "300", is being investigated for an alleged attack on a photographer, a Los Angeles police spokeswoman said on October 8, 2008. A photographer filed a police report accusing Butler, 38, of punching him several times in the face in a scuffle early on Tuesday morning, said LAPD spokeswoman Ana Aguirre. Investigators plan to contact Butler over the report, which names the Scottish-born actor as a suspect for misdemeanor battery, Aguirre said. |

It went down at New York's La Guardia airport last night. As the photog asked Woody questions, the actor shoved the camera into our photog's eye, causing it to temporarily stop recording.
A few seconds later the video returns but then the screen goes black again -- you can still hear Woody attack full bore, ripping the camera out of the photog's hands.
Our photog says Woody smashed the camera to the ground, breaking it. Harrelson then picked the camera up and began walking away with it. The photog followed Woody, claiming he was assaulted and demanded that Woody return the camera.
That's when Harrelson attacked again, striking the photog repeatedly and grabbing his neck. Our cameraman shot the action with his flip cam.

On April 8, 2009 he appeared on the CBC Radio One program Q, hosted by Jian Ghomeshi, with the rest of his musical group the Boxmasters. During the first half of the interview, Billy Bob sounded nervous or confused and gave erratic answers, such as answering direct questions with "I don't know". When asked about his musical tastes and influences as a child, he gave his longest answer, but it was about his favorite monster magazine. He also stated that he had told the show's producers to not ask any questions about his career as a screenwriter and actor. However, Ghomeshi did mention it in the introduction of the show, and this appeared to have upset Thornton. |

It's Woody's second incident with a TMZ camera. In 2006, Woody broke another one of TMZ's cameras and choked a different cameraman.
The N.Y. Port Authority police are investigating the latest incident.
